Please read all Fitness and Studio Policies before creating an appointment for a Fitness Class, or for Fitness and Cardio Express Center use.

Group Fitness Classes

We are still offering faculty/staff preferred classes as a part of the Healthy Campus Initiatives. These classes are listed on the fitness grid and our scheduling app.

Personal Training

We are currently offering in person and virtual personal training sessions!

Fill out the Built like a Bulldog Initial Intake Form for a first time appointment. You will be contacted by one of our staff to begin the training process. For returning clients, please get in touch directly with your trainer!

Sherrill Fitness Center

Know Before You Go:

Campus Recreation’s main fitness facility, the Sherrill Fitness Center, houses a variety of free weights, stacked weight machines, cardio equipment, weight benches, and a squat rack.  Appointments are required and you may reserve one appointment per day, up to 24 hours in advance, based on available time slots.  Each reservation block has limited appointments available based on safe social distancing guidelines for physical activityIf you are looking for a quick 30 minute cardio-only workout, please consider scheduling an appointment in our new Cardio Express space (SRC 213A) where we have relocated several cardio pieces from the fitness center.  Please note that towel service, lockers, and showers will not be available. All patrons, including Faculty and Staff, may use the Sherrill Center main locker rooms to change and to use the restroom.  Faculty and Staff locker rooms are not available at this time.

Please bring your OneCard and you may join the cue line in front of the SHE fitness desk window up to 10 minutes prior to the start of your appointment.  You will be asked to complete a self-symptom check upon check-in.   Please note that you will be allowed to enter the fitness center only during your designated appointment time and you must promptly exit the space at the end of the appointment block.  If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel your appointment in IMLeagues at least 1 hour prior to your appointment time so another participant may use your time slot. Failure to cancel appointments and no-shows may result in loss of privileges to make appointments   Your appointment time will be held for your arrival up to the mid-way point of the appointment block.  At that time, we will note you as a no-show and you will forfeit the remainder of your appointment time.  This allows us to serve other patrons who may be on a wait list.  

When You Arrive:

Please take care of as many personal needs as possible at your own private residence.  Face coverings are required and should be worn at all times in all of our facilities, including locker rooms, and while exercising. Please leave all valuables at home. One small gym bag or backpack may be brought into the Fitness Center to be stowed in the designated storage cubicles.  Check out equipment such as resistance bands, weight belts, weight pads, foam rollers,hand chalk and yoga straps will not be available for use,  but you may bring your own small items for personal use.  A limited number of mats will be available for check out to use in the Fitness Center.   Also, please note that self-screening symptom checks will be required at check-in. Thank you for adhering to our community expectations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. 

Cardio Express

Cardio Express is a new workout zone located in the Student Recreation Center (SRC 213A).  Cardio Express houses a variety of cardio equipment (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals) for those looking for a quick 30 minute cardio workout.  Appointments are required and you may reserve one appointment per day, up to 24 hours in advance, based on available time slots.  Each reservation block has limited appointments available based on safe social distancing guidelines for physical activity. Please note that towel service, lockers, and showers will not be available. Patrons may use the SRC locker rooms to change and use the restroom. Please take care of as many personal needs as possible at your own private residence. 

When You Arrive:
