February 1:   Rock the Boat!   This night is for UNC Asheville students only!  SPLASH around the pool in a boat!
February 8, 15, 22, 29: OPEN

April 4: Rock the Boat!   This night is for UNC Asheville students only!  SPLASH around the pool in a boat!
April 11, 18: OPEN

Roll sessions are open to the university and greater public as a chance to practice skills in a controlled pool environment with lifeguards. UNC Asheville Outdoors provides student instructors for those that are wanting to learn the basic biomechanics of kayak rolling or paddling. The Outdoor Program also has kayaks, paddles, sprayskirts and helmets availabe for anyone to use, so you don't need gear to come and try it out. People are also welcome to (and often do) accompany friends or mentors or other teachers/professors that may teach them the skills instead of using UNC Asheville Outdoors instructors.

Location: Student Recreation Center Pool

Time: 8:00pm-10:00pm, Wednesdays

Cost: Free for all UNC Asheville students, staff and faculty with Onecard;  $5 cash for community members

Rules: 20 boat maximum in the pool. Play boat in the deep end only and wear a helmet.
