Abs Blast: This non-impact 15-minute toning class focuses specifically on the abdominal area. A great class for anyone wishing to achieve core strength and stability and a great set of abs year round!

Aquafit: This 60-minute medium intensity water fitness class provides an aerobic workout with shaping and toning moves that encourage you to get your heart pumping and your body moving. This class uses various weights and resistance tools in the water to enhance muscle tone and development. Participants are encouraged to work hard but to also have fun!

BLT & CUT: Buns, Legs, and Tummies (BLT) & Complete Upper Body Training (CUT) is a 30-minute strength and toning class designed to target all the muscles of the lower body, upper body core through various excercises and strength training equipment. Great for all skills levels and people on the go with not a lot of time!

Faculty & Staff Total Fitness: This 6-week, 60 minute class will encorporate a variety of fitness training excercises beginning in the Group Fitness ROom and branching out into the facility to utilize the track, pool and fitness room. This is a great opportunity for first time users of these Campus Recreation facilities to learn aerobic and anaerobic exercises.

Faculty & Staff Zumba: This 6-week, 60 minute class is a fusion of Latin and international dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

Hip Hip Dance: This contemporary hip-hop class will have you poppin', lockin', and groovin'! Classes start with low impact cardio and stretching. Erica then breaks the class down with a hip-hop combination to a popular track. Join this class to learn isolations, body coordination, and funky footwork as you explore your inner hip-hop soul!

Hoopdance: This 60-minute class is specifically designed to take participants through the basics of hooping regardless of whether you are brand new to the hoop or repeating the series to ensure better muscle memory. Hooping allows all participants to explore the hoop through movement, dance and body awareness. Class spaces are available on a first come first serve basis.

Kickboxing:   This intense 60-minute class combines punches, jabs, kicks and other martial arts techniques with aerobics for a complete workout. A great stress reliever!

Pilates This 60-minute mat-based pilates class is not just a series of exercises, but a complete approach to developing body awareness focusing on the core (abdominals and lower back) and helps to promote flexibility.

Rise and Shine Yoga: Begin your day with focus and clarity! This 60-minute class is a calming, stress-relieving yoga that stretches and strengthens your body.

  Deep Stretch Yoga: This class is characterized by moving at a slower pace and a deeper stretch targeting the hip, pelvis, and lower spine. This class will help your body and mind release tension and usher you into a place of deep relaxation. This 60-minutes provides excellent practice in learning to slow down for those who feel constantly on the go. 

Vinyasa Flow Yoga: This 90-minute class is for the intermediate practitioners. This class is a dynamic system of practicing asana, linking breath to movement which builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations.

Yoga & Meditation: This 60-minute class is open to all levels of practice and abilities in which there will be an exploration of basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. The last 30 minutes of class will be dedicated to the simple and direct practice of moment-to-moment mindfulness meditation. Each class will have a different approach toward meditation; from conscious breathing, to mindfulness, to contemplation, or even simple old fashioned deep relaxation.

Zumba:   This 60-minute class is a fusion of Latin and International dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. Master this class and move onto Zumba Toning!

Zumba Express: Only have 30 minutes during lunch? Come to Zumba Express where a all the components of a typical 60 minute class are narrowed down into one 30 minute class. Classes are back to back to allow you to stay for just one class OR bump up your heart rate twice and stay for the second class!
